Who we are
Apex Entry is a doors and security business based in Peachtree Corners, working across metro Atlanta. We hang and repair commercial steel, storefront and fire-rated doors, fit and rekey the locks on them, and install the access control, intercoms and cameras that decide who gets through. Homes, offices, stores, restaurants, warehouses and apartment buildings, and the property managers who look after them.
We look at the frame, the hinges and the closer before we quote a door, and at the wiring before we quote a reader, because that is where an entrance actually fails. The estimate is written, the work is scheduled with you, and same-day service is there when the schedule allows.

Before you call
Every job is quoted in writing after a walkthrough, and the number moves with the door, the hardware and the wiring, not with the size of the building.
We look at the opening, the frame and what is behind the wall before we write anything. On a repair or a rekey that can happen the same day; on a storefront or an access control system it is a scheduled visit. The estimate follows in writing.
Everything on the list: the door or hardware, the frame work, the wiring, the programming, the disposal of what comes out, and the test with you at the door. Anything not on it is not in the price, and we say so before we start.
The door itself — a hollow metal door and frame costs more than a slab in an existing frame, and a fire-rated assembly more again. The hardware grade and whether it is keyed alike or mastered. And on access control, intercoms and cameras, how many doors and readers, and how far the wiring has to run.
A deposit is asked only on ordered doors and hardware; permits are pulled where the city or county requires one for the work, and we say which before the estimate is signed.

It depends on the door and the hardware more than on the building. A rekey is the least; a hollow metal door and frame, or a fire-rated assembly, is the most; access control moves with the number of doors and readers. We do not quote from a phone description — the walkthrough is free and the estimate is written.
Some door and low-voltage work needs a permit from the city or county, and some does not; it depends on the work and where the building is. We say which applies to your job before the estimate is signed, and pull the permit where the work needs one.
For a repair, a lockout or a rekey, the same day when the schedule allows. A new door, a storefront or an access control system is a scheduled visit for the walkthrough, then a date for the work once the door or hardware is in hand.
We stop and tell you. A rotted jamb behind a storefront, a frame that is not anchored, a wire that will not pass — each is priced as a separate line, in writing, and nothing is added to the job without your word.
